Biography
Guillaume Léonard is Full Professor at the School of Rehabilitation of the Université de Sherbrooke and a FRQS Senior Clinical Research Scholar at the Research Centre on Aging, where he directs the Groupe de recherche sur les aînées, la neurostimulation et la douleur. His research program aims to better understand the mechanisms of action of analgesic interventions used in rehabilitation. As a physiotherapist, he is particularly interested in the potential of non-invasive neurostimulation techniques as therapeutic avenues for decreasing pain and maximizing physical function in the elderly
